About Me

Exploring Perspectives That Matter
My name is Grinjé Randa Bringi, simply known as Grinjé Bringi {pronounced: GEAR-IN-J | B-RIN-G}.
My name carries profound significance, translated from the Balanda language as “one path, one way or one road.” It symbolizes my journey of forging a unique path with purpose, pride and authenticity.
Named after my great-grandmother, I am honoured to carry her legacy as a woman of remarkable determination, cultural pride, strength and leadership, in both my work and my values.
I strive to bring unwavering determination and authenticity to my work as a solution-oriented journalist, cultural commentator and multimedia storyteller.
I am passionate about amplifying underrepresented voices, particularly from the Global South. I explore diverse perspectives with nuance and authenticity and approach every story with fairness and deep respect for the lived experiences of those I feature. I strive to ensure their narratives are presented truthfully and without bias.
With a multi-passionate creative approach, I thrive on weaving multimedia elements into my storytelling. Through in-depth interviews, photography, video features and written articles, I bring stories to life in ways that captivate, inform and inspire. My work is about building meaningful connections between audiences and the stories that matter most.
